I was directed to a sustainability game on Yousustain.com and was directed to try for the “Devotee” level. I was super confident that I was going to surpass that level with little effort.
Sadly, and surprisingly, that was not the case! I barely made it out of the “Newbie” level (which is the 1st level, while “Devotee is the 3rd level). I always considered myself to be really in tune with all issues regarding sustainability and that I truly understood what it takes to incorporate sustainable practices. This quiz opened my eyes to my own short comings.
Although the quiz was very informative, it explained each answer in very good detail, what I really learned is that I need to really dig deeper to understand all things sustainability. If I am going to effect any change, or teach my children anything, I have to first know the fundamentals. This was a true eye opener!
